Tarsha Dickenson

Tarsha Dickenson is a ceramic artist based in Adelaide. Her functional wares embrace minimalistic forms which explore geometric and organic surface decoration and carved mark making that alludes to patterns found in nature, aiming to provoke thoughtful experiences for the beholders of the vessels. Her practice also encompasses slip-casted and hand-built sculptural works with a humorous and at times visceral aesthetic that seek to inspire modern contemplation on a range of political, cultural, and technological themes. Tarsha undertook training in ceramics at the Adelaide College of the Arts (2022) and has a background in stop-motion animation, graphic design & post-production for film, having completed a Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2016.
